Cancellation Policy

I agree, understand, and acknowledge the following policy:

Private Lessons & Behavior Consulting

Payment is due upon booking. Your session is not confirmed and reserved until payment is received.

Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the service date will be given a 100% refund, or equal value credit will be given to a future service. Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance of the service will only receive equal value credit toward a future service. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the service will not receive a refund.

Boarding and Board & Train

A 25% deposit is due at booking in order to confirm a the boarding reservation, this may be waived for regular clients in some instances. The remaining payment is due on the first day of boarding at drop off.

Cancellation of boarding reservation will result in an equal value credit toward a future service.

Behavior Modification Results

I agree, understand, and acknowledge that exact results regarding the elimination or modification of behaviors are not and cannot be guaranteed.

Risk, Damages & Vet Records

I agree to not bring my dog to any in-person services with Windy City K9 LLC if they are displaying signs of illness such as repeated vomiting, repeated diarrhea, coughing, lethargy, discharge from eyes or nose, etc.

I agree and understand that all dogs participating in any Windy City K9 LLC service must be free of any infectious disease and are current on all appropriate vaccinations, including distemper, parvovirus, and rabies.

I agree to assume all responsibility for any damage done to property, persons, or other dogs done by Client or Dog's actions that may occur before, during, or after all services provided by Windy City K9 LLC.

I assume all risks associated with participating in services provided by Windy City K9 LLC.

I myself, and on behalf of my spouse, agents, attorneys, successors, and assigns, hereby covenant and agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Windy City K9 LLC, its directors, officers, agents, employees, contractors, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event from any and all claims, charges, complaints, liabilities, and obligations of any nature whatsoever, whether now known or unknown, and whether asserted or unasserted, arising from any event, act, or omission by Windy City K9 during my dog’s participation in Windy City K9 LLC activities.

In consideration of my dog being allowed to participate in activities associated with Windy City K9 LLC, I acknowledge that I have had sufficient opportunity to review the entire Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound to its terms.

Boarding Care & Safety

"Boarding" is defined as the dog staying in Windy City K9 LLC's care without the owner's physical presence.

I understand that my dog's updated vaccine records must be sent to hannah@windycityk9.com before my dog is boarded.

I agree to provide Windy City K9 LLC an emergency contact that has consented to transporting and housing my dog at any time during our reserved boarding stay. I understand and consent to my dog being released to my emergency contact at any time during the boarding stay.

I understand that Windy City K9 LLC will provide regular updates about my dog during their stay, and I will be immediately alerted in the event of any medical abnormalities.

I understand and consent to any medical care for my dog, including potential emergency room visits, deemed necessary by the discretion of medical professionals in collaboration with Windy City K9 LLC. I agree to pay all associated expenses for any medical care deemed necessary by Windy City K9 LLC.

I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for any and all harm, damage, and/or injury
caused by my pet(s), including injury to persons, other pets and damage to property. I understand that Windy City K9 LLC will exercise all due diligence and care in the guardianship of my pet(s). I hereby waive and release Windy City K9 and its employees, officers, volunteers, and agents from liability of any nature for injury or damage, and I expressly assume the risk of such injury or damage while my pet(s) is in the care of Windy City K9 LLC.
